In this position you will be responsible for building up the Amaranth front-end using appropriate tools and frameworks. You will also stitch together the highly scaled backend platform workflows that seamlessly brings together the entire ML life cycle. You will need to make key decisions on build vs. adapt, and must be focused on shipping features on a fast cadence. You will have the opportunity to investigate a variety of front-end technologies and use the latest cloud based tools.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science/EE. 2-5 yrs experience is a plus
  • Fluent in at least one front end frameworks such as React, or Angular is required
  • Fluency in python, ubuntu scripting, rbac, devops strongly preferred. Exposure to microservices and containerization is a plus
  • Independent initiative and ability to learn quickly
  • Excellent communication skills, willing to work remotely

In this position you will be responsible for architecting the storage and data flows underlying Amaranth’s data science algorithms. You will make decisions regarding access and storage of petabytes of imaging, and multi-omic data, select the right workflow technology to process it, and choose algorithms/frameworks that achieve optimality of resource consumption.  You will need to make key decisions on build vs. adapt, and must be focused on shipping on a fast cadence. You will have the opportunity to try out a variety of technologies and use the latest cloud based tools.

  • Masters or PhD in Computer Science/EE with specialization in deep learning. Experience with medical imaging is a strong plus
  • Fluency in Keras, PyTorch, computer vision libraries is required

In this position you will work on multiple projects analyzing biomedical data by applying existing tools, informatics resources, and developing new informatics/software resources,  automating/optimizing/customizing repetitive bioinformatics tasks/workflows, implementing research specific novel analysis approaches and computational methods, and leverage prior experience and domain knowledge to improve existing methods to expedite and facilitate the data analysis and knowledge discovery process.

 

You must be focused on implementation, application, maintenance, customization of available/known informatics resources and scientific software/data sources in multiple programming languages/platforms for research support. You will have the opportunity to work with multiome datasets and try out various data analysis, integration and visualization tools.

  • Fluency in R, Python
  • Must have familiarity with database structures and -omics assays
  • Ability to understand and implement computational algorithms, statistical analysis methods, custom data analysis software.
